Monster Hunter Stories 2: Wings of Ruin

Capcom’s new turn-based RPG is a fantastic combination of the addictive grind of Pokemon and the quirky adventure of Monster Hunter. Monster Hunter Stories 2: Wings of Ruin is the second entry in the series and an all-new story featuring a legendary Rider, a Wyverian girl, and a destructive power unleashed upon the world.

F1 2021

16th July – PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PC

F1 2021 is almost here (even sooner with the Deluxe Edition), and according to developer Codemasters it will be “the most immersive F1 experience ever.”

Prepare yourself for an intense combination of on and off-the-track moments and the debut of the all-new story mode “Braking Point.” Whether playing solo or cooperatively with a friend, you can customise the entire experience with more options than ever; something that Codemasters explains was designed for both “those new to the franchise and seasoned veterans.”

The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword HD

16th July – Nintendo Switch

Breath of the Wild 2 is indeed coming soon… and until then, there’s another HD remake of a Zelda classic to tide you over. 2021 marks the 35th anniversary of The Legend of Zelda series, and Nintendo will celebrate with a remake of 2011’s Skyward Sword. Originally released for the Wii, this new version of Skyward Sword will feature updated graphics, bespoke Joy-Con controls, and other features detailed in the trailer here.

If it’s anything like Link’s Awakening, the last Zelda remake to arrive on Switch, it’ll definitely be a must-play.

In a dystopian, cyberpunk-themed future, the mega corporation that controls you (and everyone else) has just collapsed. Now the question is– can you survive without it?

Watch Dogs: Legion – Bloodline Story Trailer Confirmed for Ubisoft Forward

While not entirely new games, July is bringing 3 game-sized expansions to 3 very popular titles.

6th July

First up is “Bloodline”. The protagonist from the first Watch Dogs, Aiden Pearce, will return in the upcoming expansion for Watch Dogs: Legion!

Available as part of Legion’s season pass, Bloodline is set before the events of the main game, and sees Pearce meet up with Wrench (and his nephew Jackson) in London. “Caught between a powerful military robotics corporation and a returning DedSec member with an opposing agenda, Aiden must rely on his grit and experience to navigate a hostile city, try to outmaneuver his enemies, and keep his family intact.”

Next, the latest update for 76 will arrive in July, and boy is it a big one. This eighth major update for Bethesda’s popular online RPG will feature the conclusion to the Brotherhood of Steel storyline, legendary power armor, and a new legendary item crafting system!

Total War: Warhammer 2 – The Silence & The Fury

14th July

As the final DLC for Total War: Warhammer 2, The Silence and the Fury expansion will add two new Legendary Lords to the game!
