It might be hard to believe, but Crackdown 3 is actually going to happen and the game actually has a release date now. This Microsoft exclusive was supposed to come out sometime around…oh, a year ago, but it has been delayed multiple times. After the X018 conference this past weekend we now have a set date of February 15th for this action-packed open-world shooter– and a new trailer too! It looks like Crackdown 3’s developers have been putting their extra time to good use.

Crackdown 3 Will Be Worth the Wait

Legendary Nintendo developer Shigeru Miyamoto once said “A delayed game is eventually good, but a rushed game is forever bad;” and the team behind Crackdown 3 seem to agree. According to Microsoft, all this extra time working on this long-awaited game will be worth it. Everything from gamemodes to visuals have gotten multiple overhauls and reworkings, including the new Wrecking Zone multiplayer mode featured in the trailer above.

Play It With Game Pass

Crackdown 3 is a first-party Microsoft game; meaning that it’s going to be available to play for free from the day it releases for Xbox Game Pass Members. So basically you could play for 24hrs a day for a whole month for just £2.99

Now is an amazing time to be an Xbox Game Pass member. First the slew of new games released at the beginning of the month (including Battlefield 1), PUBG and 15 other games coming now/soon, and Crackdown 3 on the horizon.
