The Elder Scrolls Online: Necrom Introduces New Arcanist Class, Zones, & More for Tamriel's Adventurers - Xbox Wire

Will 2023 be one of the best years in gaming… ever? It really is shaping up that way.

The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, Street Fighter 6, Resident Evil 4… the list goes on. All with Metacritic scores above 90.

June 2023 will add 5 new offerings to the pile– let us know in the comments which one you’re most hyped for! And as always, you can find exclusive deals on all the games listed below over at CDKeys.

Street Fighter 6

2nd June – PC, PS4/PS5, Xbox Series X|S

June starts off with a bang… or rather a HADOUKEN!

One of the most successful and beloved fighting franchises of all time is returning for one more round. Capcom promises that Street Fighter 6 will be as outrageous and over the top as it is mechanically solid; a title that’ll usher in the next era of fighting games. As the legendary developer puts it: “Fighting is an art. And this is our masterpiece.” It’s time to hit the streets.

The Elder Scroll Online: Necrom

5th June (PC/Mac), 20th June (PS4/PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One)

Return to Morrowind to unearth new secrets in the land of the Dark Elves. In the massive new Necrom expansion, you’ll unlock a new class, discover new lands of the Telvanni Peninsula, and uncover mysteries within a Daedric realm. A New 12-player Trial and World Event await you as well; along with new rewards and recruitable companions!

Now is the best time ever to join over 13 million other players in an award-winning online RPG experience. New to The Elder Scrolls Online? Grab the Standard Edition, which the game’s publisher promises is “built for new players” thanks to its new standalone story and tutorial intro. Or, upgrade your current copy of the game with the Upgrade Pack (also available in the Digital Collector’s Edition).

Diablo IV

6th June (2nd June with Ultimate Edition) – PC, PS4/PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One

It’s time for you all to go to Hell.

No… like, literally.

The reviews for Diablo IV are nearly unanimous. The latest entry has somehow lived up to the ridiculously high standards set by the series over the past 26 years. Try to name a more iconic dungeon crawling action-RPG…. We’ll wait.

Time to embark on a new campaign (solo or with friends) to slay evil across meticulously detailed settings while unlocking legendary loot. In addition to the new story, items, locations, and more, Diablo IV will feature a shared world this time around. Meaning that “players can meet in towns to trade, team up to battle world bosses, or descend into PVP zones to test their skills against other players”. So what are you waiting for? Choose your class, customize your hero, and challenge the darkness that has fallen over Sanctuary!

F1 23

16th June (13th June with Champions Edition) – PC, PS4/PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One

The latest (and greatest) entry in the F1 series is here! This means that it’s time to play the only game based on the actual Formula One World Championship. F1 23 is the most accurate F1 car simulator to date; featuring all of the cars actively involved in the championship, all of the cars from last season, and more classic cars than ever.

F1 2023 is a must-have for any Formula 1 racing fan or racing game enthusiast because of how accurate the game is both on and off the track. From precise turns and meticulously detailed car models, to the post-race interviews and race-team management duties, F1 23 will bring you the real Formula 1 racing experience. And don’t forget– to stay in first… you’ll need to be the last to brake.

Final Fantasy XVI

22nd June – PS5

It is no understatement to say that Final Fantasy is one of the most well-known and beloved video game franchises ever created. It is also no understatement to say that Final Fantasy XVI is easily one of the most anticipated games of 2023, and a legitimate Game of the Year Contender.

The 16th standalone entry in the legendary Final Fantasy series marks a darker turn for the RPG franchise, with a complex tale of revenge, power struggles and unavoidable tragedy.

There’s a lot going on in this one (as usual), and you can find all the details (as well as deals) right here on the store page. Oh, and if you were wondering… Final Fantasy XVI will be a PlayStation exclusive (specifically PS5) for at least 6 months. BUT Square Enix has all but confirmed that a port is in the works. If you read the fine print of the game’s trailers, you’ll see that the game is “not available on other platforms until December 31, 2023.” ***PC ANTICIPATION INTENSIFIES***
