FIFA 23’s release date is fast approaching (30th Sept. or 27th with Ultimate Edition), and you probably have a few burning questions you need answered ASAP.  “What about my FIFA 22 FUT Points?” “Will they work in FIFA 23?” “And what about my Coins, unopened Packs, and Career Mode progress?” Don’t worry, we’ve got you covered.

Here’s what will and won’t carry over from FIFA 22 to 23, and how you can make it happen.

 

Can You Transfer FUT Points From FIFA 22 to FIFA 23?

Yes… But there are a few things you should know before doing so:

  1. You will only have the option of transferring Points over to FIFA 23 the first time you start up the game. And, If you’ve already done it once, you cannot do it again. So be ready when you hit that play button (and be sure to stock up on discounted FIFA 22 Points before doing so).
  2. Even though FIFA 23 features cross-play from day one, you can only transfer Points on the same console or PC. There is no cross-platform carryover available. For example, you can’t send Points from your PlayStation to your friend’s Xbox.
  3. Once you go ahead with the transfer– that it. It’s not reversible.
  4. You can only transfer your Points via console or PC and not through the web or mobile apps.

How to Transfer FUT Points from FIFA 22 to FIFA 23

The first thing you’ll need is a copy of FIFA 23. Then, when you start up the game for the first time, you’ll see a notification that’ll show you how to transfer your points. Follow the prompts, and you’re done. It’s that easy. Just keep in mind the four tips listed above.

Just like last year, these are the only two things that will carry over:

What WON’T Transfer to FIFA 23

Finally, other than your FUT Points, the only other item that will carry over is your FUT Club Profile.

❌ – Unopened Packs

❌ – Match Records & History

❌ – Club Data

❌ – Achievements and Trophies
