Season 7 of Fortnite is now live, and the map is cooler than ever – literally! Winter has come to the Battle Royale King, and so has a bunch of other features, loot, and of course, an all-new Battle Pass.
Fortnite Season 7 Battle Pass
The best way to play Fortnite is with a Battle Pass. What’s a Battle Pass? It’s a collection of skins, cosmetics and exclusive gear that are all new for Season 7. You don’t get all of these items at once, though. Your job is to unlock them before the season ends by playing Fortnite and completing things like the weekly challenges below.

What’s Else Is New In Fortnite Season 7?
New Map
A mysterious iceberg has crashed into the map and brought tons of wintery new changes to Fortnite. First of all, there are new mountainous peaks to have fun on – no winter landscape would be complete without those! Among the fresh and frosty portion of the map, there are new areas to explore too, like Polar Peak, Frosty Flights (planes!), and Happy Hamlet. Expedition Outposts now dot the map, and players can traverse between them by using all-new zip-lines!
New Vehicle
You can now deal death from above in the X-4 Stormwing Plane, a new vehicle that’s now live in Season 7. Dive onto opponents, perform barrel rolls, or even fly upside down in this machine gun-equipped war machine. The plane can seat up to 5 players, and you can even jump out and glide down to the ground if you choose to.
New Creative Mode
This new game mode allows you to finally get “creative” and build your own custom maps for you and your friends to battle on. You can design your unique island with your friends or on your own, but you’re going to need a Battle Pass to do so for now. Fortnite Creative will eventually be free for everyone on December 13th.

Every week special challenges are announced to help you earn more Battle Stars to unlock new loot! A portion of these challenges is always reserved for Battle Pass owners only. Here are the challenges for Season 7, Week 1!
Free Challenges
- Pick up an item of each rarity (0/5) = 5 Battle Stars
- Dance in different forbidden locations (0/7) = 5 Battle Stars
- Play matches with at least one elimination [HARD] (0/5) = 10 Battle Stars
Battle Pass Challenges
- Stage 1: Dance on top of a crown of RV’s (0/1) = 1 Battle Star
- 2: Dance on top of a metal turtle (0/1)
- 3: Where to dance on a submarine (0/1)
- Deal Headshot Damage to opponents (0/500) = 5 Battle Stars
- Stage 1: Search Ammo Boxes in a single match [HARD] (0/5) = 3 Battle Stars
- 2: Search Chests in a single match (0/3)
- 3: Search Supply Drops in a single match (0/3)
- Eliminate opponents in different Named Locations [HARD] (0/5) = 10 Battle Stars
