Originally a PlayStation exclusive, Days Gone is finally available for PC today (via Epic and Steam), two years after it first released. All that time has given the game’s developer plenty of time to squash troublesome bugs and add exciting new features. Here’s everything you need to know.
Desperation, Betrayal, Regret, and Whatever Comes Next
Days Gone is a gritty, open-world adventure game in which you’ll struggle to survive and struggle to find a reason to live in the devastated remains of the Pacific Northwest. Step into the boots of biker Deacon St. John, an outlaw biker with a dark past who is searching for a light at the end of his nightmare.
As developer Bend Studio and Publisher Sony explain, in Days Gone you’ll do whatever it takes to help yourself and those you hold dear. “Scavenge through abandoned settlements for equipment to craft valuable items and weapons, or take your chances with other survivors trying to eke out a living through fair trade… or more violent means.”
Days Gone PC – Features and Gameplay
Days Gone on the PC will include “ultra-wide monitor support, unlocked framerates and improved graphics (increased level of details, field of view, foliage draw distances).” In addition to these technical upgrades, New Game Plus, Survival mode, Challenge mode, and exclusive bike skins will also be included in the PC edition.
