The latest entry in the Homeworld series (debuting way back in 1999) is finally here. Originally published by Sierra Games (just like Half-Life), Homeworld 3 is being backed by publisher Gearbox this time around (just like Half-Life: Opposing Force).
This third installment in the real-time strategy series features more of what the franchise is known for: tactical, beautiful, and unique RTS gameplay in a captivating sci-fi setting. Time to take control of entire armadas of spacecraft and wage war in fully 3D space at a galactic scale!

Is Homeworld 3 Coming to Console? Is it on Mac?
Homeworld 3 is currently only available for Windows-based PCs. And, as of now, specific information about a console releases for Homeworld 3 is not officially available from the game’s developers.
However, it’s worth noting that previous games in the Homeworld series have seen releases on consoles. For example, the Homeworld: Remastered Collection was eventually released on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One after its initial PC launch.

What is the Year One Pass?
The Homeworld 3 “Year One Pass” unlocks access to a massive amount of new content scheduled to release over the following year. This includes three DLC drops that expand the co-op War Games mode by adding new artifacts and playable factions. The Year One Pass comes included with both the Deluxe and Fleet Command editions of the game, ensuring that you’ll have all of the latest content the second it’s available.
